Chior without water markThe Music Ministry is an integral part of every Sunday Morning Worship Service. as well as special occasions during the liturgical year. We use vocal and instrumental music to enhance the lectionary in the worship service. The Music Ministry also prepares special services such as “Festival of Lessons and Carols” during Advent, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, and “Tenebrae” for Good Friday.

The Cultural Series Committee sponsors several Cultural programs featuring music and art throughout the year. We are committed to providing visual arts and performing arts at the same event. The performers and artists usually come to us from the wider community and, from time to time, may include performers and artists who are also members of St. Matthias. We offer a venue for the various talents of artists and musicians in our community and we recognize that the beauty you experience are Gifts from God.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, we will not be able to present a series for 2020-2021. Please stayed tuned for updates for future Cultural Series’
