St. Matthias Cultural Series to present Love Letters, by A. R. Gurney
Share the story of Melissa and Andrew as told through the power of the pen. Simply staged, two actors read a lifetime of correspondence, painting a humorous and haunting portrait of the life they shared.
This production features Bill Oglesby, retired Richmond-area TV news anchor and reporter and Brenda Smiley-Lykins, who has never been in a play before but who preaches most Sundays at St. Matthias! Martin Beekman, retired lecturer in the Drama Department at UVA, directs the production.
Suggested donation $5 single $10 family. Show is not recommended for children.
