Vestry and Parish Officers
The vestry of St. Matthias' is a nine member group elected by the congregation to serve three year terms from April 1 through March 31. The vestry and rector work together, in mutual ministry, to further the purpose and vision of St. Matthias' as overseers to the spiritual, financial, administrative and program needs and concerns of the parish. The vestry meets monthly, plus annually for a retreat and planning conference. Heading the vestry are senior and junior wardens who work with the rector in overall leadership in the vestry and parish. They, along with the rest of the vestry, oversee the work of the commissions of St. Matthias'. Working closely with the vestry are the parish officers.
Group Leaders
Under the guidance, supervision, and mutual ministry of each commission are a variety of groups at St. Matthias'. The leaders that volunteer to head these groups give their gifts of time and talent vital to the ministry and organizational life of the church.
